House Portraits

House Portraits make a unique gift or family keepsake.  Some clients have had me paint every house they've ever lived in, so I have been able to watch their financial progress over the years from the starter home, to the house in the suburbs to the condo in Florida. 

I have been painting house portraits for over twenty-five years and have painted hundreds, if not thousands of them.  I used to wonder why people would want to have pictures painted of their homes until it finally dawned on me that next to their children, their homes were their biggest investments both in money and time.

Prices are listed below but please contact me if you have any questions.

Paintings are done from photographs.  Morning or late afternoon light make the most interesting shadows.  Try to Make the building fit the picture.  Take close-ups of details you wish to emphasize.  I will edit out wires, telephone poles, neighbors' houses, etc. Your photographs will be returned.  To see real before and after examples, Click Here!

Matting and framing are the responsibility of the buyer.  Unfortunately, my job as Director of Jasper Arts Center allows me little free time to take commissions now.  If you are ordering for a special occasion, please order early.
